Prayer for the Hurting

Dear Loving Father,

We thank You for the opportunity to preach Your Word each week. We know that Your Word is a convicting Word, we know that Your Word is a compassionate Word, we know that Your Word is a convincing Word, and we know that Your Word is a comforting Word. We are thankful that we can proclaim this comforting Word from the God of all comfort to those who are hurting. We know that many who gather today will be dealing with pain, sorrow, and difficulties that life has thrown at them. We pray for some of Your men who will proclaim peace in the midst of pain. Thank You, Dear God, for being aware when we hurt, for understanding our hurts, and for bringing healing when we are hurting. Help us to grow closer to Your heart each day. In Jesus Precious Name, we Pray, Amen.
