About: The Traverse City church is a solid self-supported congregation having many young married couples with children. Active in sending missionaries overseas as well as supporting and encouraging other congregations in northern Michigan. Strong eldership with deacons that oversee their own area of expertise (technology, benevolence, fellowship, administration, building and grounds, treasurer), allowing the elders to oversee the spiritual needs of the congregation. They are active in the community. They produce radio ads on local and regional stations.

Job responsibilities: Pulpit preaching and teaching classes. Visiting members. Bible studies with those seeking God. Writing articles for the bulletin which is an outreach tool. Minimal time in the office so as to allow opportunities in the community and with the membership.
