Thankful for All the Blessings

Dear Loving Father,

We are thankful for all the blessings associated with preaching Your Word. It is a rich blessing to study as we prepare to preach. Our prayer is that our study will be a blessing to everyone who hears us. We are thankful for the blessing of standing before Your people to proclaim the Gospel. Knowing that You have chosen preaching as the vehicle to present Your Word, we consider it a tremendous blessing to be used for Your glory. We are thankful for the blessing of seeing and hearing how people respond to the preaching of Your Word. We are thankful for the blessing of knowing that Your Word, when preached, will accomplish the purpose You intend. Thank You, Dear God, for blessing the lives of those who preach in ways beyond our ability to understand. We pray that our preaching and our worship will glorify You and bless all who gather.
