There are times when we feel overwhelmed by what life has thrown at us. The holiday season can be difficult for your people, including the men who preach Your Word each week. When we feel burdened down by the concerns of life, it can be easy to focus only on our problems. We pray, Dear God, that You will help us remember that we are here to glorify You and to serve others. Help us not forget that the preaching of the Gospel is never about us but about blessing others.
For other Lord, for others, let this our motto be. Please help us to live for others that we might live like Thee. We thank You, Father, that our Savior was willing to humble Himself and give Himself to others. We thank You that He did so even when we were in our sin. We pray that we can follow HIs beautiful example. In His Precious Name we pray, Amen.
