Their Place

God, thank You so very much for these men. While our hope rests in and is kept securely by Him, that which we have committed unto Him, we understand the significance of the place into which You have put these men. We know that You have placed Your Treasure in these earthen vessels. We know that in them others will see themselves - frail and clay - but that they will also see a glimpse of You in them. That they will get a hint of what You can do with this clay. We know that others will hear Your Words in their words. We know that in them You become relatable. We know that as they watch those who minister, muddle, as they witness inadequacies   they will realize that any power is of You and not them. Help each of these men in turn to begin to feel how much You have placed in them, the confidence, the wisdom, the power, yea verily, the importance. May it not be too much of a weight but much of a blessing to realize that, Father, these men touch eternity. So equip them for this task and bring glory and joy into their lives. Bless them and love them. May they love You, Your Son, Your Word, Your church, the lost, and each other. And may they be found faithful.

In Jesus Name,

AMEN
