Today & Sunday

You may never know how many lives you impacted on Sunday, and you may not know this side of eternity how many hearts you reached through the preaching of the Good News. Our prayer is that someone has already expressed gratitude to you, and if they have not, that they will soon do so. Please know that we are thankful for your proclamation of God’s Holy Word.

Another piece of good news is that in six days (and some before then), we will have another opportunity to preach the life-changing, life-giving message of hope and truth. We know that you are already thinking about next Sunday, and that’s another reason you are beloved by the Lord and His people.

May I share with you one more reason to rejoice today? We don’t have to wait until Sunday to help change lives and hearts. Through our work and ministry, we can show His love to our people and to those who do not yet know Jesus. 

It may be through a text, a call, an email, or a visit. It may be over a glass of tea or just in passing. Praise God, we can make a difference in someone’s life today. We don’t have to wait until Sunday. Today, we can express a kind word of love, an act of service, and a heart of mercy to everyone we encounter. Today, we can reach out to someone who needs to hear from us.

If you ever begin thinking your work isn’t significant, take heart. I’m sure you’ve already helped someone today, and you will help countless others on each of the todays this week. Praise God, you are valuable to the Kingdom, to your community, to your family, and to the word; Today & Sunday!
