The church family is ready to work with a dedicated servant leader to guide the youth ministry. Leadership is looking for a married and experienced leader to put systems and processes in place to see the student ministry thrive. The next minister will make Huntingdon “home” in order to build a solid foundation of ministry. Leadership desires an individual to grow with the congregation and become a key part of the long-term vision.
Job Expectations: Organizing weekly student classes 7th-12th Mentoring students and building relationships Planning and executing special events (retreats, camp, youth rallies, service projects) Collaborating with other ministry staff & youth deacons Engaging all families with children K-12 in the congregation Occasional preaching opportunities Experience in leading worship (singing) is desired. Community oriented; willing to connect with Huntingdon members and guests in the community (sports, band, cheer, etc.) Qualifications: A strong, personal relationship with Christ Passion & experience working with students (min. 3 year) Ability to communicate effectively with students and parents Ministry degree preferred or relative experience. Commercial Drivers License or willing to obtain and drive (26 passenger bus) Salary: Competitive and commensurate with experience Housing: 3 Bedroom, 2 bathroom recently renovated house
