Job Description: The House Parent is responsible for providing full-time care, supervision, and support to children placed in a family model home operated by the agency. The House Parent resides in an agency-owned home and creates a safe, nurturing, and structured family environment that promotes the spiritual, physical, emotional, educational, and social development of the children in care. If married, one spouse is employed by the agency as the primary House Parent. The other spouse is not required to be employed by the agency and may pursue outside employment, or may be considered for an appropriate agency position based on qualifications and agency needs. Both must meet minimum requirements and background checks in order to serve in this role.
