Job Description/Qualifications: A follower of Christ who has a deep personal commitment to upholding Christian values and is a faithful member of a congregation of God’s people.
Leadership experience in an educational or religious setting, with a proven ability to inspire and engage a diverse community.
Strong communication skills, with an aptitude for building relationships with churches and community organizations.
Demonstrated success in promoting and advancing the mission of a Christian educational institution.
A Master’s degree in Education, Theology, or other possibly relevant field is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Promote a Christian Environment: Uphold and promote our commitment to providing a safe Christian environment that encourages spiritual and academic growth among students.
Foster Relationships with Local Congregations: Establish and nurture positive relationships with local congregations, enhancing our community connections.
Spiritual Leadership: Serve as the spiritual leader of our community, demonstrating and encouraging the application of Biblical truth in everyday life. Lead efforts to train up each child to follow the example of Christ.
Enhance School Visibility: Communicate the unique value and mission of Jefferson Christian Academy to prospective students, parents, and the broader community. Implement marketing and outreach strategies to highlight our commitment to spiritual and academic excellence.
Strategic Fundraising: Develop and execute effective fundraising strategies to secure financial support for the school. Identify and engage with donors, sponsors, and grant-making organizations to foster a sustainable financial future. Work closely with the Board of Trustees to organize fundraising events and campaigns that align with our Christian values and support our mission of providing a safe Christian environment that promotes spiritual and academic growth.
Strategic Direction and Community Engagement: Collaborate with the school board to set strategic goals, ensuring that our daily operations reflect our Christian mission. Engage with students, parents, staff, and alumni to foster a supportive, inclusive, and spiritually enriched environment.
