Help Us, Dear Father

Dear Father in Heaven,

Thank You for allowing us to preach Your Word to Your people. Father, we know that we are not capable of doing what You want us to do by ourselves. We know that we desperately need Your help. So, Father, we beg You to help us. We pray that You will:

Help us to be like You, and love every person who walks through the door.

Help us to be like Jesus, and be willing to sacrifice for others.

Help us to be like Noah, and be preachers of righteousness.

Help us to be like Moses, and lead people out of the wilderness.

Help us to be like Joshua, and lead Your people to the promised land.

Help us to be like David, and hide Your Word in our hearts.

Help us to be like Jeremiah, and weep for those who are lost.

Help us to be like Micaiah, and speak only what You say.

Help us to be like John, and preach like John, who pointed people to the Lamb of God.

Help us to be like Andrew, and introduce people to the Savior.

Help us to be like Peter, and answer the question correctly, “What shall we do?”

Help us to be like Paul, and proclaim the entire counsel of God.

Help us to be like thousands of Your men through the ages, who have lovingly, clearly, and boldly proclaimed the unsearchable riches of Christ.
