We pray that our worship to You will be a sacrifice that is well pleasing in Your sight. We pray that our worship will be a source of encouragement to everyone present. We pray that the words we speak to Your people will be life-changing and life-giving.
As preachers, we pray not only for those who will gather, but also for one another. We pray that every man who proclaims Your Word on Sunday will do so with passion and compassion. We pray that the word we speak will be Your Word. We pray that Your Word will find hearts that are receptive and willing to apply it to their lives. We pray that every word we speak will be acceptable to You. Thank You, Father, for giving us the privilege of standing before Your gathered Family to proclaim and share Your Word.
