Dear Father in Heaven, We are thankful that every day we can say, “This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it.” While we are thankful for every day, many of us who preach are most thankful for Sunday. We give You thanks for allowing us to prepare for Sunday. We thank You for blessing us with the awesome privilege of standing before Your people and proclaiming Your Word on Sunday. Dear God, we pray that this Sunday will be a good day for the men who preach Your Word. We pray that they will rejoice in the knowledge that they are doing Your work. We pray that those who hear these men on Sunday will be blessed, encouraged, challenged, and lifted into Your presence. We pray that as Your Family gathers, it will be a time of rejoicing, peace, encouragement, and comfort. In the Precious Name of the One who rose from the dead for us on a Sunday, we pray, Amen.
