A Prayer of thanks for the Word of God

Father:

Thank You for Your Word which builds us up. Thank You for Your Word which is never changing. Thank You for Your Word which changes us. Thank You for Your Word which is ever fresh. Thank You for Your Word that is sure and altogether true. Thank You for Your Word which gives us the truths to instruct our hearers on how to order their life in this muddled world. Thank You for Your Word that is shallow enough that it does not sweep away the young. Thank You for Your Word that is deep enough in intrigue the deepest of minds. Thank You for Your Word that feeds our Soul and spirit. Thank You for the honor and privilege we will have this week to stand before others and speak Your Word. May we do so effectively, faithfully, and lovingly.
