Your Promise

God,

As our minds are filled this week with advertising and specials and offers designed to draw us in. Help us to never see Your offer of Salvation that we herald in any form as kin to these offers. Help each of these who teach and preach to remember that Your offer is wholly different from any other. As we view their flashiness and the bombasticness help us to remember Your gentleness and truth. Help us to hold forth Your offer with confidence, consistency, conviction, and the promise of true and ultimate comfort that it delivers. Bless these Your servants as they prepare and then as they present Your Promise. And, Father, thank You that we were blessed to hear Your promise and act on it.
