A Prayer for Passion

Holy Father,

Our prayer for all of Your men around the world this weekend is that their hearts will be filled with passion. We pray that each of these men will be passionate about what they have studied. We pray that they will be passionate in their presentation of Your Word. We pray that all of us will have a passion for the people to whom we preach.  We pray that we will be passionate toward those who have never obeyed the Gospel, as well as those who are struggling in their walk with You. Our prayer is that our passion will not be fabricated, but that it will be the true condition of a heart that is focused on You. Dear God, may this passion flow out of us, into the hearts and lives of everyone who gathers to worship You.
