Sellers Crain announced his retirement from fulltime pulpit preaching June 10.  He hopes to remain active and useful in another role with the church at Rivergate where he has preached for nearly 25 years. Chris French, who has been the youth minister at Bethel near Nashville, accepted the YM position at Northport in Tuscaloosa. He will be working with the other ministers there.

Many of you know Berkeley Hackett or his brother Jon.  Berkeley did mission work in Africa for years. He passed away a few weeks ago. His family is holding a memorial service on Saturday, June 23, at 2:00pm in Nashville, TN at Woodson Chapel Church of Christ. ALL friends and family are invited to attend. Gary Hampton who has served the last several years as director of the East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions will begin working with the Siwell Road congregation in Jackson, MS on July 15.
