A few awesome things . . .

Every now and then a group of "stuff" just seems to make its way to my desktop so good that I have to share or explode. Now is one of those times - so here's five big things I have to share: - You've heard me talk about Exposure Youth Camp but I'm just back from this year's.  It was over the top excellent.  We topped 1200 registered this year and the team leaders, the teachers, the keynoters all helped make it wonderful. The singing in the atrium was a moment like none other.  If you want to keep up with what's happening all year and as we prepare for 2012 (December 27-30 at Embassy Suites in Huntsville, AL) text "follow EYCnews" to 40404.  If you don’t plan on bringing your youth group - here’s my challenge - do it one time! Come, bring them, or send them - I’ll give you (not your whole group but YOU) a refund if they don’t want to come back!

- Scott Bond, JR. and I have been tossing around the idea of a video bulletin to our folks for several weeks now.  With more and more things going video and not knowing anyone doing this we thought it could be neat.  So tonight (last night) we produced our first one.  You can enjoy (well, maybe) our first effort of Video Vision at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gcDDK-GVeIs

- Thing 3!  I love creative thinkers and I love encouragers even more.  My friend and fellow co-host of iPreach is developing a mentoring group for 8 young men that he will mentor for a year.  If that sounds interesting to you go to http://www.faughnfamily.com/2012/01/01/guys-middle-tennessee-announcement/ to learn more.  Very neat idea.

- And "a four": One of our families at Spring Meadows, the Estabrooks (Thomas, Kelly, Parker and Mason) are adopting a child from Bulgaria. The Lipscomb basketball program is doing something great. On January 16 they will host an "Adoption Rally" for the Estabrooks. All gate recepts that night will go to this family's effort.  Details are here -  Lipscomb Fundraiser (1).  I hope to see you there.

- FIVE!  TheJenkinsInstitute.com introduces....well, I can't tell you. Actually next week get ready for a major announcement of a new endeavor from The Jenkins Institute.  We're pretty fired up about it, be sure to check us out next week for some big news!
