Don't Forget

When our lives become overcrowded and so busy there’s hardly time to turn around, it can become easy for us to remember all that God has done for us. When we are in pain and we feel that our world is upside down, it can become easy for us to lose our focus on what matters most. When we’ve had a difficult Sunday or a tough meeting with leaders, when we question our own choices, and wonder if we are making any difference, it’s easy for us to lose confidence in ourselves or even in our Father.

I don’t know what might be going on in your life at this moment that might be causing you to struggle. May I remind you that God loves you more than you can fathom. May I encourage you to remember that He is still on His Throne, that He still answers prayers, that He is deeply concerned about your life, and that He will never leave you or forsake you.

Our God is a Father who has great love and concern for His children. He has a special love for His men who proclaim the Word and who work among His people every day. If He gave His Only Son to die for us, He will certainly see us through any difficulties that come our way.

So my brothers, this week spend some time listening to His Word, spend some time talking with Him about your cares and burdens, and spend some time glorifying Him because of His great mercy toward us. Don’t forget, He loves you supremely, He will never forsake You and He is ready to hear from you and me about whatever is weighing on our heart.
