About: 9th and Elm Church of Christ in Orange, Texas is seeking a minister with a passion for people. The key responsibility of the minister is to make disciples of all creation and teach them to observe whatsoever the Lord has instructed.

Orange is part of the Golden Triangle of East Texas. Orange County's population is about 86,000, while the city of Orange has about 19,000 residents. Major employers are the area refineries, and together with Lamar College, the region provides abundant opportunities for evangelism.

9th and Elm supports both domestic and foreign missions.

Average Sunday morning attendance is 65. Currently, the congregation does not have elders but does have a strong core of brother leaders. The congregation has several capable song leaders and teachers. Financial support for the minister is commensurate with experience and the minister's needs.

The congregation is looking for someone to work with them, not for them; truly a co-worker together with Christ.
