About: WindSong Church of Christ, located at 3 Windsong Drive in North Little Rock, Arkansas, seeks a youth minister to lead and develop its growing ministry. The congregation has doubled in size over the past four years and averages 450 on Sunday mornings. It is served by 12 elders, 14 deacons, a preaching minister, associate minister, children’s minister, and worship and family minister.
The youth group averages 25–30 students. The elementary program includes more than 60 children, with many expected to enter the youth group in the next year. WindSong seeks a minister who will build lasting relationships, help students develop lifelong faith, and put down roots for long-term service.
Responsibilities: Teach Bible classes and lead teen devotionals; build Christ-centered relationships and mentor students. Develop a presence on local high school campuses and participate in chapel opportunities when invited. Organize camp week, mission trips, activities, service projects, and new opportunities for students to grow and serve. Work with ministry staff, elders, parents, and volunteers. Clear communication with parents and delegation to parent volunteers are essential.
Qualifications: A deep commitment to Scripture and helping students follow Jesus; a Bible-related degree is preferred. The minister should enjoy working with teenagers, develop a vision for the ministry, organize and communicate well, and collaborate with church leaders and staff. The ability to relate to students from diverse backgrounds, including those reached through urban outreach, is important.
