As we enter this season of Thanksgiving, our hearts overflow with gratitude. We are thankful that You have chosen to proclaim the Gospel to the world through the avenue of preaching. We are grateful that the Church has been appointed to spread the Good News. We are thankful that You have preserved Your Word for those of us who are alive today. We thank You, Dear God, for the men who will stand before Your people this week. We thank You that they are men who have grateful hearts. We pray that their love for people will be evident as they share Your Word. We pray that, as Your Church gathers around the world, each gathering will express thanksgiving to You as we worship. Thank You for being our Creator and the One who keeps us going. Thank You for loving us and for giving us Your Truth. In Jesus’ Holy Name we give You thanks and in His Glorious Name we pray, Amen.
