We know that every day belongs to You. We also understand that today, the first day of the week, is unique and special. On this day, by Your mighty power, You raised Your Son from the grave. On this day, You chose to establish Your Kingdom here on earth. On this day, Your people have met for more than two thousand years to worship You, to commune together, and to hear Your Word proclaimed.
We also realize, Dear God, that many can publicly read Your Word and even speak Your Word, that there are men who have dedicated their lives to preach the unsearchable riches of Jesus. This morning, we give You thanks for each one of them, wherever they are in this world. Today, we ask that You will provide them with a special measure of Your grace, Your love, Your comfort, and Your presence. May they know that they are a part of a vast army of men who have dedicated themselves to serving You and Your people. Thank you, Dear Father. May this be a day filled with Your presence and Your glory. In the Precious Name of our Savior we Pray, Amen.
