Ten Thoughts for 2026

Search the internet, and you’ll find a plethora of articles describing how to make 2026 the best year you’ve ever experienced. Perhaps you have read them all and don’t want to read another. If that’s the case, I would understand fully why you would choose to exit this piece right now. And I might say, I can’t blame you. However, if you are open to another list, here you go. My top ten thoughts for the New Year.

(1) Spend more time talking to the God who made you, and talking to the people He created.

(2) Listen to God’s Word every day.

(3) Say something kind about the Church frequently, and tell someone about Jesus and His Word each day.

(4) Hug your family every day and tell them how valuable they are to your life.

(5) Be strong, courageous, and daring as you preach the most wonderful news ever known to man.

(6) SMILE!! I hear it’s good for your health. I know it’s good for your heart and the hearts of people who spend time around you.

(7) Encourage another preacher: a young preacher who might be struggling, and an older preacher who might feel as if he is no longer needed.

(8) Reach out to someone who is alone, someone who is hurting, and someone who needs to hear your voice.

(9) Recommit yourself to ministry and serve sacrificially like never before.

(10) Offer unconditional love to the people who are close to you and those who need you.

Thank you for all you do for the Lord and His Kingdom. We consider it an honor to be a co-worker with you. May the God of Grace grant you good health and much joy in this New Year.
