You Are Beautiful

In Romans 10:15, the apostle Paul quotes Isaiah 52:7 and relates it to the ultimate Good News message. “How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!”

The Holy Spirit is talking about you, preacher. You have beautiful feet because they take you places where you share glad tidings of good things.  But that’s not all that is beautiful about you.

Your hands are beautiful because you use them to open the Word and you use those hands to craft messages to share with the people of God, as well as those who do not yet know Jesus.

Your arms are beautiful when you hug those who are grieving the loss of someone they love, the loss of their possessions, the loss of a job, or some other personal loss in their life.

Your knees are beautiful even though they are worn out from the many hours you spend on them in prayer. They are beautiful when you stoop down to pay attention to a child.

Your eyes are beautiful when you see the downcast, dejected, and those who the world ignores as people who are made in the image of the Creator.

Your ears are beautiful because you hear the cries of brokenhearted, the hurting, and those who are along in our world.

Your mouth is beautiful as you proclaim the unsearchable riches of Jesus!

Your mind is beautiful because you use it to discern wisdom, to help make decisions that are vital to the lives of those to whom you minister because you use it to help elders and the Church make wise decisions.

Your heart is beautiful as it shows the love and compassion of Jesus to people who are in desperate need of His love every day.

How beautiful is God’s man who is doing God’s Will in God’s Way!
