AL: Heath Stripling has been named the youth minister for Heritage Place Church of Christ in the Birmingham area.
FL: The Northwest Tampa church is excited to announce that they are looking for a new youth minister to primarily work with grades 6-12. Tampa is a unique and rapidly growing area and they are looking for a guy who will be committed to working there. The church has about 300 members and about 130 of those are between ages 0-18! They are wanting to grow and ready to grow. They are beginning a campaign so they can build a new multipurpose building, with a large new kitchen, adult classrooms, new youth wing, expanded lobby. It’s an exciting time. They would prefer someone who has some experience, either through internships or their own ministry. TN: The Capital Hill church is looking for a part time preacher. Capitol Hill is in Decherd near Winchester. They average 50-65 each Sunday with a number of youth and children. The area around Decherd is beautiful and the Church itself if less than ½ mile from Woods Reservoir Lake. They do have a preacher’s home. Until our vacancy is filled they need a minister to fill in temporarily or on an interim basis. TN: Miles Cotham is retiring from full time ministry after 50 years and 35 years with the Pleasant Hill Church of Christ in Nashville. Miles was a missionary in Singapore for six years and taught at Ezell Harding Christian School for over 20 years. He was the French Speaker for the Restoration Radio Program. TN: A.T. Pate has resigned at Central in downtown Nashville.
TN: The Happy Haven Children’s Home continues to be in need of houseparents. This might be a good supplement for a preacher and his wife at a part time work or in between churches. They provide residential child care for girls. The wife would be salaried as housemother; the husband can be employed off campus. Compensation includes: $22,000 salary for house mother, large home with free rent & utilities, use of passenger van & commissary, and other benefits. Want to know more?
