We've got several good scoops to share today. It's been a while since I last put a disclaimer on here so here goes: I make no claims to the quality of the job or the direction of the churches listed here. This is a simple listing - just like if you were buying a used car - you have to "kick the wheels" on your own. Sometimes I just post what the church sends me and let you figure out what it means. Other times I reword what I get. For instance - typically if a church says they are a sound church or looking for a faithful preacher, I don't post that. Simply because one person's definition of what they mean by sound and faithful may be different than the readers. And I'd assume all churches are looking for a preacher that in their mind would be sound. If you don't like that, I understand. But it's my post so that's how I chose to do it. First scoop this week goes to Jeremy Hinote who let us know that the Aiken Church in Aiken SC looking is looking. They are a church of about 150 members. http://www.aikenchurch.org/
Larry Fife has been named as the new preacher at the Fayette congregation in Alabama. He has been at the Cleveland church in Bankston. So Cleveland will be looking. Here is the link to their site: http://www.clevelandcoc.org/default.html
Berry's Chapel Church of Christ in Franklin, TN is searching for a youth minister. Please send your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Josh Pierce is leaving the youth ministry role at Vernon in Lamar County, Alabama to work with the Central McMinnville congregation.
Evan Kirby has been named the new preacher at Pontotoc, Mississippi. He has been at Friendship in Crockett County, Tennessee. They are a small church of about 20 members. The contact number I have is 731-677-2423.
